2024 Summer Meetings – Emergency Vote In-Progress

Welcome back owners to beautiful Vacaville, California or “Cowtown”, for the 35th Season of the NAFL!

The Summer Meetings gives all owners the ability to have a say in governing and operating the league. Proposals are meant to improve the league and make it more fun.

This meeting is being conducted to improve things in the NAFL for next years season. All owners will be notified of the events in this meeting and will be given a chance to vote on all changes. The hope is that all owners will participate in this meeting so that this can be a successful league and meeting. All owners will receive the results, next years schedule and any important dates on the NAFL Web site.

Emergency Owner Vote

The Commissioner has declared a re-vote on the 3rd QB rule. Only the current Owners are voting, no Commissioner and No Secretary. Please vote by the end of Monday August 12th, 2024. All owners must vote. Majority wins.

I. INTRODUCTION

The League wants to remind everyone to treat each other professionally and with kindness. We are all friends and family who share a passion for NFL and Fantasy Football. We all understand you have passion and want to win, but understand this is a game and this is no ones job.

We will be voting on-line by using the on-line voting form. Voting begins on Friday, July 5th and ends on Friday, July 19th.

All owners were given an opportunity to send in proposals, the league officers and Commissioner have reviewed the proposals and they have been approved by the Commissioner. Remember that the Voting deadline is Friday, July 19th.

To have a valid voting form, all proposals and questions must be answered and at least 7 owners need to vote to have a quorum and to have the votes become official.

II. Summary and Priorities

The results from last year were posted on the NAFL Website and MFL website.

Last year we gained two new teams with the Frankies Frankfurters and the Robles Finz joining us making us a 12 team league. Last year we also upgraded the website. There are few rule changes proposed this year including the controversial 3rd QB rule on where they can get drafted. Also there are proposals to increase scoring for IDP’s and some proposals since alot of injuries with QB’s. New Rule proposals have been submitted and approved by the Commissioner.

Congratulations goes to Louis Robles owner of the Robles Finz who won last years NAFL championship.

III. VOTING PROPOSALS

Here are the Proposals for the 2024 Vote. Deadline: Completed

All committees and league owners have reported to the commissioner with their recommendations and have submitted proposals for voting. Every owner gets one vote and the Commissioner and League Secretary get an extra vote. Ties will be determined by a vote of the officers. Seven votes are required to make the vote official.
